Создание главной страницы форума

Главная страница форума — это главное место для всех обсуждений на форуме. На главной странице форума посетители могут видеть все ваши открытые разделы и новые посты в этих разделах.

Важно:

Когда вы добавляете форум Wix на свой сайт, он имеет один раздел по умолчанию (Общее обсуждение). Главная страница форума появляется только в том случае, если вы создаете хотя бы два раздела.

Чтобы настроить главную страницу вашего форума:

1. Нажмите на приложение Форум Wix в редакторе.
2. Нажмите Настройка.
3. Нажмите вкладку Разделы.
4. Добавьте новый раздел, чтобы показать главную страницу (если у вас только один раздел).
5. Нажмите на иконку Показать больше рядом с названием форума по умолчанию.
6. Выберите Редактировать.
7. Введите название в поле Название форума.
   Примечание: это название отображается в меню вашего сайта и при публикации форума в социальных сетях.
8. Введите заголовок страницы.
   Примечание: этот заголовок отображается только в хедере вашего форума.
9. Введите краткое описание (максимум 120 символов) в поле Описание форума.

Step 1 | Add Wix Forum to your site

In order to get started, the first step is to add Wix Forum to your site.
Show me how

1. Open the App Market:
   • Wix Editor: Click the Add Apps icon on the left side of your Editor.
   • Editor X: Click the App Panel icon on the top bar of Editor X.
2. Type «Wix Forum» in the search field and press Enter.
3. Click Add to Site next to the Wix Forum app.

Note:
After you add Wix Forum, two main pages will be automatically added to your site:

• Forum Page: Your main forum page, where forum posts appear.
• Members Page: On this page, forum members can view other members of the community, follow each other, see what other members have written – even chat with one another.

Step 2 | Create a category

Categories are really important if you want to have a good well organized forum. Think about what you want forum to be, you can have a category about anything you want. Typically, categories are based on topics that are somewhat related to your site and spark interest and engagement amongst your forum community.

Show me how

1. Go to your forum in your site’s dashboard.
2. Click the Categories tab on the left.
3. Click Add Category.
4. Enter a name in the Category Name field (appears in the navigation menu).
5. Customize the New Post button text.
6. Enter a name in the Category Header Title field (appears in the header).
7. Enter a short description of what your category is about in the Category Header Subtitle field (maximum 65 characters).
8. Choose one of the following options:
   • Color:
     • Click the Backgroundcolor field to choose a color for your header background.
     • Click the Opacity field to increase or decrease the level of opacity of your header.
     • Click the Text color field to choose the color of your header text.
   • Image:
     • Click the Add icon to add an image to your header.
     • Click the Overlay color field to choose the color for your image overlay.
     • Click the Opacity field to increase or decrease the level of opacity on your image.
9. Choose what type of commenting system you would like:
   • Comments with reactions: Comments appear in the order they are posted. Members can react with a heart.
   • Comments with Upvotes and Downvotes: Comments are ordered by votes. Upvote a comment to push it to the top.
10. Choose who has access to the category and its content:
    • All members: Any member can access this category.
    • Logged in members: Only members that are logged in can access this category
    • Selected members: Only specific members, with certain roles, badges, or subscriptions can access this category.
11. Choose who can post in this category:
    • Everyone with access: All members that have access to the category can write posts in this category.
    • Admins and moderators only: Only admins and moderators can write posts in this category.
12. Click the Category guidelines toggle to enable or disable it:
    • Enabled: A set of guidelines created by you are added to the category. These can include asking all members to stay within the topic of the category, etc.
    • Disabled: Guidelines do not appear on your category.
13. Click Save.

Step 3 | Customize your forum settings

After you’ve set up some categories and created your main forum page, you can then take a look at customizing your forum settings. This will allow you to shape your forum to how you want it. You can customize your general forum settings as well as the layout, display and design of your forum.

Note: There are two layouts to consider — the main page layout and the post page layout.

1. Click the Wix Forum app in your Editor.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Layout tab.
4. Customize the main page layout settings:
   • Choose a Main Page layout (option available if you display categories on your forum):
     • Classic: An organized, classic layout, better for forums with lots of text.
     • Cards: A beautiful masonry layout to showcase posts.
   • Show subcategories: Click the Show subcategories toggle to enable or disable subcategories
     • Enabled: Any subcategories you’ve created will be shown on your main forum page.
     • Disabled: Any subcategories you’ve created will be hidden from your main forum page.
   • Show header: Click the Show header toggle to enable or disable it:
     • Enabled: A header is displayed on the main forum page.
     • Disabled: No header is displayed on the main forum page.
   • Header height: Drag the slider to change the size of the header.
   • Header text alignment: Choose to have your header aligned to the left or to the right:
     • Left: Displays header text aligned to the left.
     • Centered: Displays header text centered.
5. Click the Post Page tab to customize the post page layout:
   • Choose a Posts Page layout:
     • Classic: An organized, classic layout, better for forums with lots of text.
     • Cards: A beautiful masonry layout to showcase posts. If you selected the Cards layout, click to select a card size.
   • Show header: Click the Show header toggle to enable or disable it:
     • Enabled: A header is displayed on category pages.
     • Disabled: No header is displayed on category pages.
   • Header height: Drag the slider to change the size of the header.
   • Header text alignment: Choose to have your header aligned to the left or to the right:
     • Left: Displays header text aligned to the left.
     • Centered: Displays header text centered.

Note: There are two displays to consider — the main page display and the post page display.

1. Click the Wix Forum app in your Editor.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Display tab.
4. Choose how you want to display your main page:
   • List of categories: Categories are displayed on your main page.
   • List of posts: Posts are displayed on your main page.
5. Choose how you want to sort your posts:
   • Recent Activity: All posts with recent activity are displayed first.
   • Newest: All new posts are displayed first.
   • Most comments: Posts with the most comments are displayed first.
   • Most views: Posts with the most views are displayed first.
   • Most likes: Posts with the most likes are displayed first.
6. Choose what you want to display on your forum:
   • View counter: Click the checkbox to display a view counter on your forum posts.
   • Hashtags: Click the checkbox to display any hashtags associated with the post.
   • Social sharing icons: Click the checkbox to display social share icons on your post.
   • Pinterest save button: Click the checkbox to display a button that saves to Pinterest on your post.
   • Badges: Click the checkbox to display any badges associated with the post and the post author.
   • Log in from your forum menu: Click the toggle to enable or disable it:
     • Enabled: A login button will be displayed on your forum to allow users easy access to login.
     • Disabled: A login button will not be displayed on your forum.
7. Click the Posts tab.
8. Click the relevant checkbox to choose what is displayed on your posts.
9. Select a post widget to add to your post page:
   • New and related posts: A section for new and related posts is displayed on your post page.
   • Similar questions: A section for posts with similar questions is displayed on your post page.

There are four elements of design to consider — navigation menu, text styles, icons and buttons, and background and borders.

1. Click the Wix Forum app in your Editor.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Design tab.
4. Click the Navigation menu tab to customize the navigation menu settings:
   • Fonts and icons: Click the color box to choose a color for your fonts and icons.
   • Background opacity and color: Drag the slider to change the level of opacity, and click the color box to choose a color for your background.
5. Click Back.
6. Click the Text styles tab to customize the text styles settings:
   • Title: Click the Expand icon to customize the title style of the header.
   • Description: Click the Expand icon to customize the description style of the header.
   • Post text color: Click the color box to choose a color for your post text.
   • Title: Click the Expand icon to customize the title style of the post text.
   • Description: Click the Expand icon to customize the description style of the post text.
7. Click Back.
8. Click the Icons and buttons tab to customize the icons and buttons settings:
   • Button text color: Click the color box to change the button text color.
   • Button opacity and color: Click the color box to select a button color and drag the slider to change the opacity.
   • Corner radius: Drag the slider to change the corner radius.
   • Links and hashtags: Click the color box to select a color for your links and hashtags.
   • Comment icon colors: Click the color box to select a color for your comment icons.
9. Click Back.
10. Click the Background and borders tab to customize the settings for the background and borders:
    • Forum background: Drag the slider to change the opacity, and click the color box to select a background color for the forum.
    • Posts, categories, and sidebar background and opacity: Drag the slider to change the opacity, and click the color box to select a background color for your posts, categories, and sidebar.
    • Posts, categories, and sidebar border color and opacity: Drag the slider to change the opacity, and click the color box to select a border color for your posts, categories, and sidebar.
    • Border width: Drag the slider to change the width of the border.
    • Corner radius: Drag the slider to change the corner radius.
11. Click Back.
