Marmoset Toolbag 2 output?
I’m just beginning my Marmoset 2 days and having some difficulties with the capturing.
-When I select Capture/Show Output folder, nothing opens (I assume it’s supposed to?)
-When I select Capture/Image I get the windows loading circle but no image shows up where I expect it to (desktop)
When I select Capture/Image & Open nothing opens (My settings are to output in TGA, which defaults into Photoshop)
Is there a default folder that MT2 outputs into? I didn’t see something aptly named in my program files but maybe I just overlooked it?

edit -> preferences -> output
set your desired folder.

Oh wow, that was simple. Is there a way to select a folder and set it as default? Because right now I’m selecting that folder each time I open the software

Yeah, the folder in the preferences should set the default. Does it revert every time you launch the app? Do you have non English characters in the file path or something like that?

Ahh gotchya. I had my output folder set to my desktop, which MT2 doesn’t seem to preserve as a default. But every other folder I’ve chosen works fine. It’s inconvenient, but minor at worst.

Render settings – Тренинги «Marmoset»
— [Instructor] We’ve looked at Toolbag’s shader creation tools and lighting components, but we haven’t talked about any of Toolbag’s rendering options. Toolbag can render images which makes it a great choice for producing portfolio content or production shots. You can see I have the King Tut mask open. I’ve already textured this and lit this scene, so that we’re ready to render it. Rendering it is pretty easy. We just go up to Capture, and we’ll start with Settings so we can see what it is that we’re actually capturing. Toolbag gives you a choice of what size you would like the render to be. There are some default settings here, if you’d like to use ’em. I’m going to go ahead and use 1024 by 768 for my renders. It gives you a sampling choice. Again, there’s some defaults there if you’d like to use ’em. It does give you the option of a few formats. You can use either JPEG, PNG, TGA, or Photoshop files. I’m going to start by rendering a PNG file for this. You can check transparency. By…
