Our commmunity support members are volunteers, ranging from osu! support team members to people helping out in their free time. A response may take upwards to a week, although generally you should receive one within a day or two.

Other options

If you prefer, other options are available, including the official (but abandoned) Wineskin from ppy, or other alternatives (that won’t let you play ranked). These docs won’t cover these options in great detail but they’re pretty straightforward to get started with.

How to Download osu! for Mac

In this guide, we will show you How to Download and Install osu! for Mac.

osu! for Mac

Osu! is a rhythm game and was originally released for Microsoft Windows on September 16, 2007. It is a highly engaging, fun, and addictive game. The game’s design was created for Microsoft and mobile users. However, now, for Mac users, there is an official version of the app that everyone can enjoy. With the Mac version of the app, users of the game can enjoy the game and carry out all the spinning, holding, sliding, and tapping activities right on their MacBook.

However, the macOS version of the game is experimental and largely unstable, and some users have complained about the game not booting or starting at all. For this reason, there is a way to get the app to work on Mac without issues. Check out the steps below:

How to Download osu for Mac

Visit here to Download the app in .zip format.
Unzip it using a file extractor to access the app folder.
Right-click on the folder and choose “Open”. If you double-left-click, the app might not open like a regular Mac app. But when you right-click and select open the app will run automatically.
The app will be directly installed to osu!.app. When you move osu!.app, all the folders in it will be moved along with it. If you want to view the content in a package, right-click and click on “Show Package Contents”.
After completing the installer, the game will start immediately.
You will get a prompt to register an account or sign in to your account.

How to get osu on Mac (Alternative Method)

To make things easier, you can Download osu! for Mac using an emulator.
Download BlueStacks Emulator from the official website and install it.
Launch BlueStacks and log into your Google account.
Open the Google Play Store and search for the “Osu! app”.
Click on the top search result and install the app.
After the app has been successfully installed, you can launch it from the home screen of BlueStacks.

Минимальные системные требования

.NET Framework 4+ (предлагается установщиком osu!, но также его можно скачать с сайта Microsoft)
Приемлемая видеокарта.

Установка osu!

Скачайте установщик со страницы загрузки.
Найдите и запустите установщик.
Чтобы это сделать, нажмите на текст под словом Привет. и выберите желаемое место установки.
Через 10 секунд osu! будет установлена по выбранному пути.

После завершения установки osu! сразу же запустится и скачает несколько начальных карт через osu!direct.

Если у вас уже есть аккаунт, войдите в него.
Если аккаунта нет, зарегистрируйтесь.

Устранение неполадок

При использовании 64-битной версии Windows 7 у вас могут возникнуть проблемы с правильной установкой osu!. Попробуйте установить 64-битную версию .NET Framework в случае, если этой версии нет в комплекте с установщиком osu!.

Если при установке происходят ошибки, можно попробовать следующее:

Переустановите последнюю версию .NET Framework (найти его можно здесь).

Почистите свой ПК: проверьте его антивирусом, почистите реестр. Для этого можно воспользоваться, к примеру, CCleaner: просканируйте им жёсткий диск и реестр. Установщик может прекращать свою работу, если в реестре остались записи от прошлой копии osu!.

Добавление карт

Есть два способа добавить карты в osu!: скачать их с сайта или при помощи osu!direct (для последнего потребуется osu!supporter).

Сайт

Откройте страницу со списком карт и войдите в свой аккаунт.
Найдите песню, которую вы хотели бы сыграть.
Нажмите на иконку загрузки (стрелку вниз), чтобы скачать карту на свой компьютер.

В качестве альтернативы скачанную карту можно поместить в папку Songs , которая находится в месте установки osu!

Если по какой-то причине вы не видите установленных карт, нажмите F5 на экране выбора песен для их повторной обработки.

osu!direct

Примечание: для использования osu!direct необходимо наличие osu!supporter и подключение к интернету.

Откройте osu! и нажмите на кнопку osu!direct в правой части главного меню.
Найдите песню, которую вы хотели бы сыграть.

Если вы не хотите скачивать видео, которое идёт вместе с картой, нажмите вместо этого на кнопку DL NoVideo .

Добавление скинов

Найдите понравившийся скин на подфоруме скинов и скачайте его.
Откройте его или перетащите в окно с игрой.
osu! распакует скин и выберет его как основной.
Распакуйте его.

Переместите папку с распакованным скином в директорию Skins , которая находится в месте установки osu!.

Если osu! запущена, скин появится в списке только после нажатия комбинации клавиш Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S .
